The Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Product Developer to join our Menswear & Kidswear team at Scotch & Soda. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of the action - turning creative ideas into high-quality products, working closely with teams across Design, Merchandising, Buying, and our suppliers. From the first sketch to production handover, you’ll help bring our collections to life.

What You'll Do
✨ Be the go-to person for your product group - ensuring smooth collaboration between Design, Merchandising, Buying, and suppliers.
📦 Create and manage technical packs (including BOMs and proto comments) using our PLM system to guide suppliers through the development process.
🗓️ Keep development timelines on track - following up on samples and ensuring deadlines are met.
💡 Work closely with suppliers to problem-solve, propose technical solutions, and ensure target costs and margins are achieved.
📊 Review detailed FOB cost breakdowns to support accurate costing and production decisions.
🧐 Spot potential product quality risks early and help prevent production issues before they arise.
🤝 Build strong working relationships with both internal teams and external partners to keep communication clear and projects moving forward.

What You Bring

• A fashion-related education such as AMFI, TMO, Saxion, or a similar fashion/textile program.

• 1–3+ years of experience in a product development role within the fashion industry.

• A solid technical understanding of garment development and production processes.

• Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail.

• A collaborative, proactive mindset - you're someone who likes to solve problems, not just spot them.

• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands (we cannot provide visa sponsorship for this role).
